Safety 1st Baby Gate

This Safety 1st baby gate is fantastic. I own 4 of them. I do not know if you can see it in the pic but these gates get used in my house all the time. I have had them for 3 years now. They can be a little tricky to adjust for doorways due to the buttons are kind of hard to push in but this is an added feature to keep the kiddos from being able to push them and undo them. In the picture, the gate is in the unlocked position (see the locking handle in the middle?) but once you have it spaced to what you want you push down on that handle and it locks into place. I use them to keep my dogs from going into areas I do not want them to, but have used it on the grand babies too. The small holes keep kids from climbing them but allow for seeing through. Just make sure the gate is flush in the doorway firmly pressing on the door jam all the way around and it will securely hold. I had a full grown pit bull and this gate kept him out of areas and he did not try to jump it and I am not sure why but he did not. Mine came with 2 swing hinges that could be mounted on one side for the gate to fit in and be able to swing open when unlocked and the gate lifts out of the hinges if you wanted to temporarily use it elsewhere. The do fit large doorways too and I think hold better and safer than any of the wood ones. I think these are a great buy for the cost. The link below is to one that is very similar but has a new design.
