This dices veggies with ease. We use it for 90% diced onions and we love it. Notice I am stating we, that is because this thing is so easy to use that the guys in my house will do the onions and put them in a container in the fridge themselves. You do have to peel and slice the onion in half, put it on the size grade you want and they place in just under the white lid super easy, then close the white lid over the onion half and smack the top. That simple. One to three smacks and the onion half is diced and contained in the bottom clear cup. Once you have all the onions or veggies diced you want then just take off the green dicier grade and there are your diced onions. There is one con to this thing, the grade and white lid come off for easy cleaning but the grade is hard to clean due to the sharpness of it and the lid due to the square prongs that push the onion or veggies through. I use a scrubber brush for dishes on the dicier grade gently brushing it and a knife under running water to get in the grooves of the white lid but that still does not keep me from saying worth the money.
