This little chef basket is neat. It works pretty good but do have to watch the size of pasta you put in it. Pasta in the boxes for the mac and cheese are to small so do not bother but its great when you use larger pasta or boil eggs. Taking the eggs out with this and then just holding it under the running water to cool them is fantastic. better than leaving them in the pan. The top part (the section that looks like triangles) and the handles do not get hot. I have mine hanging above my stove so I can grab it if I am cooking something to use it with.
