Flex Seal

We have all seen the commercial of this spray can that stops leaks where he sprays the screen door in the bottom of the boat. Well I said a review was to come and here it is. My hubby and I both tested it and we have to say we were doubters but it did surprise us both. We used it over the weather stripping we replaced in his old truck around the doors just for extra added protection and also on our leaking built in dishwasher. The doors to the truck have not let in any water even on the hardest of rainy days and the noise and wind is also kept out. There has not been any peeling off of the Flex Seal or flaking. Now as for the dishwasher. The back wall of the dishwasher had a crack in it right were the seam curves to make the shape in the lower corner and yes when we ran it, we would have enough water leak out to puddle and travel out from under the front of the dishwasher. My hubby climbed under our counter and was able to get to that corner and sprayed a coat of it on then waited about 5 minutes and sprayed it again, and then once more. Now I did not use it for about 2 days after that and was for sure thinking that the pressure of the water and the hot water at that, would surely break through the Flex Seal. Well to my surprise it has been a month and about 6 loads in a month run and there has yet to be even a drop escape. Have to give this spray rubber in a can (Flex Seal) a double thumbs up from both of us. I will give a further update in about another month as to if it is still holding. And yes we use our dishwasher mostly on weekends due to most of us have work and those that don't just hand wash what they dirtied. Guess I will have to get them to just put it in the dishwasher to use it more. lol. The can on the web site does look a little different but its an original picture from when it first came out but same stuff. Oh and we still have well over half a can left too, and we even sprayed a small strainer and it kept water from passing through. Oh and do stop often to re-shake the can so the product comes out in the right way.

Can be bought at www.asseenontv.com or your local stores.
