Wantable Box

Subscription boxes, there are many different varieties and prices out there, how do you pick from them all? That is why I do reviews to help you learn a bit more before diving in. This one is from Wantable.com and they are unique because they have 3 different kinds of monthly subscriptions boxes and at times a limited edition holiday box to choose from too.

Just a little information general information about this monthly subscription service and then my honest thoughts on my experience with it.

I am sure we all know kind of what these monthly boxes are and how they work but here is a recap just in case. You pay a set monthly amount, billed automatically, and they send you a box of goodies to open and enjoy. First you are asked questions on your likes and dislikes (I found that you can simply move the slider bar up and down to make your loves, likes, and no way do not wants fairly easy). Items that you mark a complete dislike for, you will NOT get in your subscriptions. The items are hand picked to match your  preferences with luxury products by Team Wantable. Some of these monthly subscriptions are pricey and some are more down to earth. These boxes are $36.00 monthly or for a one time box it is $40.00. You may skip your monthly boxes, update your style preferences, or cancel at anytime. They also ship to Canada and Australia and the best part is if you do not love your box, do not worry. Just send it back and you will be granted a full refund, no questions asked. Now that is something you do not find often.

The category of boxes are :

Makeup - 4 to 5 boutique brand full sized items per personalized box

Accessories - 3 to 4 on-trend pieces per personalized box

Intimates - 4 to 5 premium essentials per personalized box

Holiday - this is a limited edition makeup box

Now for my thoughts on this subscription program. I can only base my thoughts on the makeup box due to that is the only category that I have been able to test at this point.
I am wearing all the pictured products in the pictures below.
I went onto their website and answered each question I was asked honestly. Like I said above it was easy just slid the bar up or down to indicate your preferences. I will say that in a matter of just a few days I had a box arriving at my home. As you can see from the pictures in this blog, the box was very nicely packed and I indeed received 5 full sized high end products and a very nicely presented sample product as well. These products each came from a different line of makeup and after researching each one I found that most of the

products were cruelty free, not tested on animals and that was a bonus in my book. I opened my box and started to play. I applied only my foundation under these products so as to not take away from any of their time in the spotlight. I found that all of the makeup I received in this box was very pigmented and lasting during the day as I wore it. None of these products caused any itching or breakouts on my face. They applied well and smoothly with little effort. Each item was rich in color and generous in the amount of product in each container. I received an eye shadow in the color Tiny Tooter, 2 sample cream eye shadows, a full sized lip stick, full sized mascara in the color blue, a Smudger brush for the eyes, and a full sized nail polish. I also found that if I had bought these products straight from their websites, I would have paid over The monthly subscription price.

Is this monthly subscription box worth the $36.00 each month? If you have the money to pick just one monthly makeup subscription box, then this one just might be the one for you. The size of the products and the types of products they sent me, I would have to say that this one is a WINNER. I was fully satisfied with what I did get in my one box and as long as they keep sending different items each box, it should be a very good monthly surprise.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
