Super Swizz Spiral Slicer

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

This is kind of a neat little gadget. It can take veggies and make them fun and pretty all at the same time. It cuts the hard vegetables into these wavy thin slices like noodles and can be cooked so many different ways. It is a manual device so no batteries or cords are needed and can be used anytime and be stored in a drawer. It comes with a little bottle type of cleaning brush to help keep it clean. It is fairly easy to clean too. You take any hard vegetable and insert it into one end or the other and turn like you were gong to sharpen your pencil.

The cap that you should use to stick the vegetable on so you can avoid using your fingers I did find not to work well on some of the smaller vegetables like carrots. I just free handed it and did fine. This product does work but for me did take a lot of practice to get the curls you see in this picture >>>. It has a different size of cut at each end. It also comes with a  LIFETIME GUARANTEE.

But once I got sort of the hang of it, I did manage to get a lot of strips of vegetables for my salad. I have to admit it made a pretty salad. Some of you may be better at using this product than I, but I think just about anyone can eventually get and use it will pretty good success

You will notice that you will be left with a very small pencil like piece of vegetable that can easily be cut up with a knife and used also or do what I did just go ahead and eat it.

Would I recommend this product? Well if you want a fancy looking salad or veggies and are willing to practice until you can do it, Then yes, but just on a general bases I have to say no for me.

I do not do that many fancy things in the kitchen. Will I use it again since I have one? Well yes I will still use it when I want the look of a fancy dish or just thin cut vegetables.

I am so sorry I only have pictures of the carrot, but my camera broke and as soon as I get it fixed or another I will post pictures of other veggies used in this product.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
