Ozeri Cardio Tech Premium Series Digital Blood Pressure Monitor

If you are monitoring your blood pressure because you have been prescribed by a doctor to do so or just because you want to, I have been given the great pleasure to review a product that is a great tool for just that.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C2EABVA

This system has it all and is very simple to use. It comes with the arm-cuff, easy to connect air tube, large screen display monitor, 4 AAA batteries, instruction manual, and a nice zipper bag to keep it all together.

Basically all you have to do is take the parts out of the box, put the 4 batteries into the back of the large screen monitor, plug the grey tip of the hose on the arm-cuff into the right side of the monitor, slide your arm into the cuff so that the tube is going down your arm towards your hand, and fold over the Velcro so it is snug. Then push the start button on the monitor. The arm-cuff will automatically inflate to the proper amount needed to complete the reading. My arms are on the larger side and this cuff works just fine on me. The user manual states that the medium size cuff fits arms from 8.7" up to 14.2" in size. The large buttons and screen display make this an easy unit to work and use. You can watch the monitor as it works on getting your reading.

As you can see in these pictures to the left and right, as the cuff fills up with air the numbers count up on the screen of the monitor and in the upper right corner there is a flashing heart symbol that is taking your pulse at the same time (caught it in the last picture directly below).

As you can also see in these 3 pictures there is a bar just under the numbers at the bottom of the monitor screen that also will tell you if your blood pressure reading is in a number of ranges such as normal, mild, mild - normal, high etc. once the reading has completed. There is also a switch in the upper right corner of the monitor that allows you to keep record of 2 different people's readings on this one machine. There is a date and time that can be set on this monitor to better help keep track of when the readings were. It holds up to 60 readings per person.

The machine is quick and there is a little pressure where the cuff is on your arm but that can not be avoided when it comes to reading your blood pressure. I found it was not that bad because the machine reads quicker than the pump kind at your local doctors offices. It also seems to be pretty consistent on its readings too. My husband is on blood pressure medicine and I am not but the readings on this machine have been right with the readings at his doctors visits.

Do I think this system is worth the money? After using this product for a few weeks now, YES I highly do. For better health monitoring and piece of mind, this unit is not that expensive and pays for itself in just a few uses. So if you are required by your doctor or just wanting to yourself, to keep track of what your blood pressure is doing daily, weekly, or anytime, this is a great buy. Also makes a wonderful gift for a loved ones.
