like most products, it deeply penetrates the layers of skin to the source of the pain and helps the body's own healing process work. It claims to quickly alleviate inflammation, muscle aches and nerve pain without side effects or a prescription. This cream is also odorless, non-greasy, fast acting, long lasting, and Paraban free. I have not tried their capsules, only the rub on cream.

I think it has a faint but soothing smell, but my family members think there is not odor at all. It has a funny color kind of yellowish, and you should keep it away from your eyes and do not put it in your mouth either. It is only for rubbing on your skin where pain is. 

Now for my thoughts on how this natural pain relief cream works. I have had bad knees for years and when one starts to hurt, I can barely walk. I rubbed this cream into my knee cap until it was all rubbed in and within about 10 minutes I could hardly tell the pain was there anymore. I could not believe it. IT DID WORK. Then my daughter in law came to me saying her shoulder blade was so tense it made her cry to move her neck and asked me if she could try my cream. So I rubbed it into her shoulder and back of her neck and within minutes she was telling me it felt like it was soothing it. A bit later she showed me she could turn her neck without crying at all. Wow mom that stuff is great she said. 

But for me the true test was when my son had his arms up and was talking then came down with them bent and his elbow slammed into the back of my hand. OUCH ! ! ! I was seriously in some major pain and we were away from the house and that meant away from this cream also. So I had to have him put the car in drive and I carefully drove home. It killed me to even touch the steering wheel do drive. I could not close my hand or grip with it either. It was truly the worse pain. We walked into the door and I ran for my desk where I had this cream. Immediately I rubbed a good amount into the palm of my hand then some carefully into the back of my hand. I waited about 5 minutes for the pain to subside some and it did. I then rubbed more into the back of my hand again really massaging it into the skin. That was 5 days ago before posting this review. I have to say for someone that is very fair skinned, 49 years old, and bruises very very easily, IT WORKED. Today I can barely feel where the initial hit was and only by touching with my other hand and there is no bruise. This stuff is worth every penny in my book.
