Now I have been using this product for a few weeks. It is well built and very sturdy. I own an iphone 3 and it fits into this mount. YES ! Having an older model iphone, it is so hard to find a mount that will accommodate the size and do its intended job properly.



This cell phone mount is so easy to install and adjust that anyone should be able to do it. It has these little legs on the bottom that swivel down to make sure your device is fully secure and hold into place. Once you widen the side clamps put your phone or other chosen device into place and squeeze the side clamps up to the phone you do not have to adjust it again. Now you are getting out of your car, all you have to do is grab the phone above the side clamps and gently give the phone a slight twist and out it comes. When you return to your car you just place one side in and push the other side back in or slide it downward from the top. Easy as ever. I love it.

I do have to say that where my a/c vents are located in my small car, I do like the windshield mount better than the a/c mount but only for the reason of where they are located. I do not talk on my phone while I drive unless I have my blue tooth ear piece in my ear and I never text either, but having my phone right there in easy glance view when a call does come in is nice. Now if I think it is important enough of a call to answer, I can now look for a pull over and then take the call or call them back. If I do not think its important, I can at a glance decide that and continue to my destination.

I installed my mount onto the windshield and it has not moved since. It has not fallen or needed any other adjustments. My husband drives my car occasionally and finds that it does not both him to have the mount sitting where I have placed it. Also I have mine mounted just above the dash on the far left of my windshield causing me to see and remember to take my phone when I exit my car so I have not accidentally left it in the car when I am not in there with it. 

Do I think this is a good purchase and a lasting one? Yes I do. I think it will make any driver happy to use it on any and every car ride.

NUTRIGOLD Whole-Food Women's Multi Gold Multivitamin

For this review I need to give you a little medical background on myself to better understand my opinions of this product. I do not have medical insurance at this time and have not been able to see a doctor for a confirmation, but after much research on my symptoms, I do believe that I suffer from Fibromyalgia. Now I am not going to go into great detail and bore all of you but in a nutshell it is characterized as chronic pain throughout the entire body. This is a multivitamin for women that contains no synthetic vitamin isolates found in most products on the market. They are a complex of nutrients concentrated from certified organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs using a patent-pending process and ActivFood nutrients cultured in nutritional yeast. They are safe and gentle without the metallic aftertaste. No GMOs, fillers, binders, artificial ingredients, preservatives, Stearates, Sulfates, Laurates, and Dioxides. Now I am not sure what all that means but I do like the fact that there is nothing artificial or synthetic about these vitamins. These can also be taken with or without food and I do like that too. It's not always easy to eat when you take your vitamins. These vitamins contain so much that they support you from Head-to-Toe. The label clearly lists everything within these vitamins and how much to take daily.

Now my thoughts about the effects this vitamin had on someone that takes so many a day just to function. I have to say after comparing the label to what I normally take a day, there are a few missing in the Whole-Food Women's Multi Gold that I normally take but even without those daily the results were pretty good. I only took the 3 a day recommended on the bottle for exactly 25 days and even with the missing vitamins that were not contained in this bottle, I still did well. I had a few more days of pain but still not at a high level as I would if I had not taken any vitamins at all. I did not have any bad taste or reaction from these vitamins at all. I am very happy with their performance and effects. I really have to say these are worth the money.

Bellemain Stainless Steel Mesh Strainers, Set of 3

Need a strainer that can be used on the finer foods in the kitchen? Well I believe these could do the job for you.

This is a set of  hand held stainless steel mesh strainers by Bellemain and you get the 3 different sizes to help with many different kinds of kitchen straining duties.

From straining loose leaf teas (that my mom likes and shares with me), to pastas and most sifting of dry ingredients as well. These 3 will probably take care of almost all those needs.

These mesh strainers are well build and just the right sizes, with the thicker outer ring around each one giving them more strength and stability when resting on a cup, bowl, or pan. There is a long handle at one end and a nice thick short loop at the other to help them rest on something with a larger opening than their size and for hanging from if you prefer. The mesh is very smooth and easy to clean. I just rinse and then put in the dishwasher. Due to the mesh all you need to do to dry them is the backs gently with a towel or paper towel.

I use all three a lot but the small one mostly for making my teas and the large one for placing over an old pan to dump foods I cook in oils from extra drainage while I do more frying or prep of our dinner plates. So I do get a ton of use out of these 3 mesh helpers.

I have not been able to try the powdered sugar trick in these as of yet but pretty sure it will work great.

They also come with a limited lifetime warranty. What more could you need with these?

Do I think they are a great buy? Yes I do. I get so much use out of them, I reach for them without even thinking sometimes.

Bellemain 1.75 Quart Cordless Electric Stainless Steel Kettle

 The hot water kettle that is way more. 

This kettle is far more than the kind you use to buy and set on a stove to whistle while they worked. You can use it anywhere you have electricity. I filled it up with very cold water, turned it on and in about 5 minutes I had boiling hot water for just about anything I need or want. Soup, tea, coffee, or coco. Even get a jump start for cooking pasta. Get your water boiling in this kettle while you get all your other stuff together and ready, then when the boiling is finished just pour into your pan and put in the pasta with the burner on. Much faster than waiting for the stove to boil the water. Using a measuring cup, this unit will hold 7 cups of water for boiling. That is quite a bit of water.

Now I know there are coffee and tea brewers out there that will do a whole pot or one cup at a time too but some can not afford those and what if you have a bunch of people over that want everything from coffee to soup or you want both? Well here is your answer. Boil a full pot and you have cup o soup and coffee or tea at the same time with less work and equipment. And you know those powdered over the counter medicines for when you are sick? Well this works great for that too. Oh and do not worry if you do not use all the water you heat. Its fine to leave it in this kettle because once the boiling is done its no longer heating the water but the stainless steel keeps it hot for a long while after.


The kettle sits on a base that has all the electric contained within the base. You can not submerse this kettle in water but you can just lift it off its base to pour out the boiling water without worry about cords getting in the way. It has 1500 watts making it boil faster thank the stove top or microwave and much safer and easier too.

Now for the very best part of this kettle. Yes even better than what I have already spoken of above. The safety features. I love this part. Not only does the kettle lift off the base but the cord stores in the underside of that same base so you can have it as long or short as you want. This base truly holds the cord under it. It does not unravel on its one like a lot of them out there do. To turn the unit on just push down the white button and as you can see in the pictures below, when on the button glows with a blue light. It does make some noise when working but it is not loud at all. The lid locks down and this kettle has a very important feature. When the water boils it will automatically shut off so if you do forget it for a bit there is never any overheating or boil over. It will also shut off if you do not have enough water in it preventing the unit from boiling dry. There is also a 1 year limited warranty on this kettle.

I love it. I enjoy using it and I use it almost daily. This one is a great investment.

Bellemain Micro-Perforated Stainless Steel 5-Quart Colander

I have to say I was so excited to test and review this colander. So many colanders are made of flimsy plastic with drainage that is way to large for job needed and food slips right through or gets stuck in the holes or slits. So what happens? You are standing there picking the food out of the colander and sink. What a mess. I also do not like when you strain pasta and the pasta water leaves that residue all over your colander. No matter how much you rinse and rinse, it is still there.

This stainless steel colander with its micro holes makes so much difference and ease in straining pasta and other foods. The micro holes cover the entire bowl with its tightly configured mesh like design, there is so much less mess. Trust me there are so many holes for straining it is like a very stiff mesh bowl making draining off liquids a breeze. But this colander is not weak in any way. Very well built for long lasting use.

The size of this colander is also amazing. It has room and tons of it. I cooked three boxes of mac and cheese and when I strained off the water there was plenty of room for one or two more boxes, but the colander is not so big that it is hard to store. Somehow it stores in the same space as most colanders but the shape and design makes it so roomy when using it as a colander. It also has two nice handles secured to either side making for a wonderful grip and you can also hang this colander in your kitchen if you like. 

It also has a very sturdy thick bottom ring making it very stable on any surface but does not block the draining function at all.

I also love the fact that I can throw it into my dishwasher for easy cleanup. Things just do not stick in the drainage holes of this colander. No fuss no muss. You are not left with the food sticking in the slits or holes like other colanders, so you are not left standing there picking food out of a colander.

Would I say this is the colander to have? Yes I would. A wonderful and lasting product to add to any kitchen.

Rtgs 20 Micro LEDs String Lights

When I found these little lights that run on batteries, I thought to myself, "Here is another strand of so called bright lights that work for hours on batteries - yeah right". Yes I have to say I was a doubter. So many out there make that claim only to let you down on the power or amount of battery time. 

So I figured that I would go ahead and get these to try out. If nothing else I could find some use for them like sprucing up my review pictures every now and again.



When they arrived in their little small box, I opened it to find an even smaller package with the battery pack attached to a strand of tiny bumps (the actual lights-above picture shows how small) and a card with all the info about these lights. Very compact and now I was an even bigger doubter.





But my job is to review them and that is what I was going to do. So I loaded the battery pack up with 3 of my rechargeables and turned on the switch. Wow they worked! They were bright too, and I had the room light up with living room lights too. These little bumps were amazing. They actually light up. I have to say now I was amazed.



I then thought that sure they are bright as a group but as soon as you stretch them out things would look different. They did. They were still bright and still looked great.

The strand is an ultra thin wire in silver with 20 LED lights on a 7 foot strand with 4 inches in between each light. Being built into this wire makes them great for so many projects, decorations, arts and crafts and can also be wrapped around items for ready easy hold. I found these lights to be fun and easy to use. So many ideas come to mind to use these for.






As you can see in these pictures, my dinning room lights were on and you can still see how bright they light up the subject matter. This company has many sizes and colors to fit just about any need or want too.


I have to say these are worth the money and are truly great fun. I will be using this set as an enhancer to some of my pictures included in my review posts.
