Coleman Focus Lantern

Bought this light 3 years ago and it is one little bull of a light. It is short and not to heavy. The 4 D batteries are most of the weight. As you can see from the picture, the whole top part is the light. It puts out one heck of an amount of light for such a little guy. It does not eat batteries either. I think in the 3 years we have had it, the batteries have been replaced 3 maybe 4 times. No lie. And we use it quite a bit, at least 4 times a week. We live on 5 acres and I have stood at the back door and shined it out into the dark night and it lights almost to the edge of our property behind our house and that is about 200 feet back. Most of our acres is to the side of our property but from our back door straight out is about 200 feet or a little more and it lights up the ground very brightly for about 150 to 175 of that 200 and then it starts to get darker from there on but you can still see back there. When our power goes out I put it sitting up like the picture and it lights up a very large room so that you can see everything in that room (usually our kitchen/dinning room because they make one big room). The handle has many positions on it so you can tilt this light just about any way you want it. It is almost like carrying a car headlight around. I would say for the money, its performance, and its tough little case - yes it is worth every penny.

Can be bought at your local stores.

Magic Mesh

I have owned this now for 5 months and it is great. Be careful if you have a puppy in the house because ours chewed the bottom hem off but it does still work. lol. I have it on our sliding door and ours is an over sized door, but we put it up and just pull the door to the mesh and attached it there. When not in use I just drape it over the curtain rod above the door. If you have a place where you can't or don't want a screen door this screen mesh is almost as good. One con is that on a windy day you need to make sure it closes behind you due to the wind will keep the magnetics from coming together in the middle but once they do they stay unless real windy. I would say this one is a winner for the money. Lay it on the floor and put the Velcro strips on it first and keep the wall ones attached to the mesh ones. Then when hanging just peel off and stick to where you want it. Also if sticking to wood put at least one tack, comes in the box, into the Velcro strip that stays on the wood because the glue alone is not made to stick to wood completely.

First Up Canopy

We have had this for almost 2 years now and we use it as a back porch awing due to we have no porch at all on the back of our house. It is very easy to set up and I have mastered putting it up all by myself. We leave it up all the time but if it gets real windy I will take the canvas off so it is not ripped off but that is only on real windy days. It comes with anchors and tie downs but I have the frame legs tied to our chain link fence to keep the frame anchored because we have it on concrete not lawn. It offers a nice spacious area of shade and protection from the rain. Our 4 dogs love getting under it too. So with being set up 90% of the time out in the sunlight and the elements I would say that this one is a keeper. If you are wanting one of these they are worth the money. Below are some details about the first up canopy. We have enjoyed ours very much.

Purple Power Citrus Cleaner

This stuff is the bomb and it will not hurt the environment. It cleans grease and gunk, even off your hands. We even have used it in the wash for those really dirty clothes. We use it all the time on almost everything. We get ours at Walmart but the hubby says he has seen it in other places. This one is worth the money.

Water Jet Wand w/2 Tips

This claims to have a powerful spray and it does just not quite to the hype stated on the infomercial. My brother bought this one and he likes it and has let me use it quite often. I do like the fan tip for watering large areas and the other tip shoots a stream of water pretty far out so I use it to water my young trees that the water hose will not reach. The idea is good and it has some power but its not a pressure washer. We also use the round tip for poking in the dirt to shoot water down to make a hole for fence posts. Really makes it easy to put up a fence or remove one with this. For all we use it including washing the car, as long as you do not expect near the power of a pressure washer, I would say it is worth the money. We have even used it to scare stray dogs away when out in our yard without harming them in any way. Close spraying can sting but other than that pretty harmless.
